Focus on Imaging at the NEC March 6-9th 2011

This is a great place to go for new and experienced photographers.  I have been going to Focus on Imaging for about 15 years and have always found it great for bargains or finding about new kits or products.  There are so many wedding suppliers such Queensberry or Jorgensen to help you choose your albums or find what to do.

All the major companies are there from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic plus the shops with their deals at Jacobs.

Why not bring a CF or SD card and long try out a photo on a Canon 1DS  or a Nikon D3x

Female Photographers on the Up!

I have suspected for some time that we have more women on our courses than men which is fantastic!

Have just reviewed our statistics for female photographers on our beginner photography course DSLROne and from a total of 93 for this course only there were

55% female photographers
45% male photographers

The stats are similar for 1-2-1 personal tuition where the photography training showed slightly higher numbers for female photographers

63% female photographers
37% male photographers

These stats are slightly higher than the national average from the

Are women better photographers than men¿
