Kenko Extension Tubes for both Nikon and Canon

Kenko Extension Tubes for Nikon AF lenses and the Canon EF or EFs lenses.

These tubes are a great for getting closer to objects, creating small depth of fields.  At around £90 a cheaper alternative to spending a £300 plus on a macro lens.  If you do love macro photography then after using these it would be worth upgrading to proper macro lenses up to £700 on an f2.8 100mm macro!

This is image was created on an iPhone4.  The extension tubes were placed on white paper and lit with only window light.  Edited on the iPhone4 using Photoshop Express, a black white was created then a slight tint of yellowy orange was added with a bit of contrast, then finally a crop and frame.  Not bad for a phone!

Dan the Train Driver

Just spent a couple of hours with a good friend of mine Dan Acharya.  It was also a good time to try out my Panasonic GF1 and with 20mm pancake and the new 45-200mm zoom.  The 20mm is sharp but the zoom is a bit soft, but useful for now.

I do love the 20mm pancake at f2, not sure it is flattering to Dan but produces a nice clean crisp image.

iPhone Park Life Photography

I had to share some of my lunch with a squirrel and the pigeon's - they love a bit of it!  Very tired today after the wedding course at Ashridge yesterday which went very well the models Ben, Michael and Cat enjoyed themselves very much and are looking forward to receiving images from the photographers.

Today was an early start for photographing Lawyers, Lewis Silkin, in London so decided to rest up afterward in the park, Red Lion Square Gardens, having bought some food from a French shop, Powle.
