Beginners 35mm SLR Film photography course, London, 18 March 2017

An introduction to 35mm SLR Film photography course, based in London. As a beginners course you won’t need any experience and we load the film for you.

If you’re thinking of trying something new, then develop new photographic skills using film cameras, bringing creativity to both your film and digital photography.

Starting at Farringdon station with a brief film loading demonstration and help setting up the camera. Vintage photography with ‘cross processed’ slide film, creative shapes and red phone boxes at Smithfield Market, then on to ‘Brutalist’ architecture with pushed Black and White for grain and contrast. Followed by an interesting sky walk to St Paul’s cathedral using Black and White film. After lunch a short stroll to the Southbank for people and reportage photography pushing colour film pushed two stops which adds contrast and saturation.

Course price includes the film, developing, high-quality scanned negatives and postage.  We have 35mm film cameras that you can hire from us at £15.
